STEPS
  1. Open source and destination images

  2. Set a mesh choosing the number of the horizontal and vertical lines and the color

  3. Modify meshes moving them by dragging their points

  4. Preview morphing by moving the scroll bar in the apposite window

  5. Save morphing process' snapshots

  6. Make an animation (AVI file) with snapshots saved

FILE MENU

  • Open images
    Source: open the source image. It will be shown on the left side of the main window.
    Destination: open the destination image. It will be shown on the right side of the main window.

  • Clean: clear the main window.

  • Option
    General: where to change general options.
         - Load settings check: choose if loading last used images and mesh at starting of program
         - Type of morphing check: choose how your morphing's process must progress.
    If sigmoidal choose the value of function's parameter to distribute the weight of source images.
    Morph
    : where to change settings about morphing procedure.
         - Morph preview: choose the number of steps shown in in preview window.
         - Snapshots and movies settings: check the apposite box if you want to insert a logo (BMP file) in your snapshots and movies.
           It is possible to choose the position where to display the logo.

  • Quit: exit the program.

MESH MENU

  • Set mesh: open a window where to set the parameters of the mesh (horizontal/vertical lines and colors).
  • Add a line (only after set the mesh)
         When you choose these commands the cursor become like a cross for better choose the location of the new line.
         Right click to abort the operation.
    Horizontal: add an horizontal line into the mesh.
    Vertical: add a vertical line into the mesh.
  • Load mesh: load a previously modified mesh.
  • Save mesh: save your mesh configuration. (available only after having set the mesh)
  • Change mesh's color: change the colors of the mesh. (available only after having set the mesh)
  • Real image size window (only after having set the mesh)
    Source: open the source image in a new window. It will be in real size dimension and it will be possible to modify its mesh.
    Destination: open the destination image in a new window. It will be in real size dimension and it will be possible to modify its mesh.

MORPH MENU

  • Preview morphing (available only after having set the mesh)
    Source -> Destination: starting with source image, ending with destination image.
    Destination -> Source: starting with destination image, ending with source image.
  • Save morphing's snapshots (available only after having set the mesh)
    Source -> Destination: create and save #  snapshots of morphing process from source image to destination image.
    Destination -> Source: create and save # snapshots of morphing process from destination image to source image.
  • Make an AVI file (available only after having saved morphing's snapshot that will be the frames of the animation)
    Source -> Destination: create an animation (AVI file) about the morphing process from source image to destination one.
    Destination -> Source: create an animation (AVI file) about the morphing process from destination image to source one.
    Src -> dst -> src: create an animation (AVI file) about the morphing process from source to source image across the destination one.
    Dst -> src -> dst: create an animation (AVI file) about the morphing process from destination to destination image across the source one.
